Short Job Description
Currently, TFFP’s process and manufacturing is outsourced to different Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to meet both commercial and US government needs. In order to meet projected demand, TFFP will need to quantify the costs and benefits of either bringing manufacturing “in house”, continuing to contract manufacture through CMOs, or deploying a hybrid approach of in house manufacturing of certain components and outsourcing certain components. TFFP is seeking an individual with experience in one or more of the following fields: operations engineering, pharmaceuticals operations, manufacturing and scaleup, and project finance. Experience in assisting mid-size formulation/manufacturing companies transitioning to scaled commercial cGMP manufacturing is a must. This role will work directly with the business development, government and manufacturing teams at TFFP to ensure all needs are meet for both commercial and government clients. This is a contract consulting position that is remote-friendly with the possibility of on-site work pending the safety of in-person meetings.
