Washington, DC – July 16, 2024 – The NobleReach® Foundation, a nonprofit, today joined other leading nonprofits and academic institutions at a White House Office of Science and Technology convening on tech talent development, announcing expanded programming to inspire young people with critical skills in AI and emerging technologies to apply their expertise to our most pressing challenges.

These milestones include:

  • This summer, launching the first cohort of NobleReach Scholars, who will be placed in positions across eight federal agencies, five of which will focus on AI, as well as three industry partners at the forefront of public sector innovation. Scholars’ roles will focus on five critical areas: artificial intelligence, biotechnology, computing and cybersecurity, business process innovation and materials and manufacturing.
  • Expanding the Innovation for Public Service Certificate, launched in collaboration with Purdue University’s College of Engineering, to over ten universities. The Public Service Certificate inspires and educates engineering students towards public service.
  • Expanding the Innovation for Impact curriculum, currently taught at eight universities, to an additional 20 universities by the end of 2024. The Innovation for Impact program enables students to solve critical public challenges in energy, sustainability, oceans, and the environment through applied, experiential entrepreneurship education.

“We’ve seen an astounding breadth of students and recent graduates with critical skills in technology and entrepreneurship who are inspired to pursue mission-driven work.” said NobleReach CEO Arun Gupta. “This year’s scholars were selected from among hundreds of applicants from 90 universities across the country – all committed to using their skills in support of our nation’s security and prosperity. Our mission is to engage, inspire and support them with clear pathways to pursue mission-driven work.”
