Sharon Hays, PhD

Sharon Hays, PhD, is NobleReach’s Chief Research Officer. She joined NobleReach from LMI, where she spearheaded their innovation efforts, directing and leveraging R&D investments into new services. Under her direction, LMI created the Forge, an internal incubator focused on rapid development of prototypes. Prior to LMI, Dr. Hays held several roles at General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT).

Dr. Hays performed more than a decade of public service in the executive and legislative branches, notably as associate director and deputy director for science at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) and as a subcommittee Staff Director for the US House of Representatives Committee on Science. She holds a bachelor’s in molecular biology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a doctorate in biochemistry from Stanford University, where she did her PhD research in the laboratory of Noble Laureate Paul Berg.
